A little tip on care

I just beat the rain. Odin molt was going so well. His fur got matted instead of molting off. He was starting to look like an unkempt Angora. Had some dreadlocks going on there. So I had to give him a little help. See the rug by my feet? Nothing a little brushing couldn’t handle. He sat in my lap like a pro, I didn’t have to hold onto him. He is my little bug. Ok, not so little...

He rather enjoyed it and the attention. Trimmed his nails while he was out and gave him a treat, some kisses and hugs for being a good boy. Molting season is here and if your big buns are struggling get a cat brush with the wire tips. Be firm and lift away from their skin, don’t brush down to the skin. The molting fur generally is no longer attached but will stick to the new fur. This was caused by all the humid days we have been having.
